THE ROLE OF CLCA

Established in 1994, the CLCA is an independent and voluntary non-profit organization that advances the interests of Canadian listed companies.

The CLCA is committed to understanding the new and current disclosure and regulatory processes and requirements of the Canadian Exchanges and the Canadian Securities Administrators, in order to influence and modify those regulatory instruments to facilitate the growth of the unique public company market in Canada.

Canada has the largest per capita sector of small or venture class public issuers in the world and we are dedicated to maintaining this extraordinary market in Canada. The CLCA both informs and obtains the opinion of its members by effectively communicating how the changes will affect Canadian listed companies.
